This is another milestone in the successful cooperation between VUJE, a. s., and NAEK Energoatom.

"We seriously consider Slovakia to be our true friend, true neighbor and partner who has lent us a helping hand since the first days of the war. Thank you for inviting your Slovak colleagues, your partners, and I would like to thank you for helping us even today, in a difficult moment for the country, not only in this area, but basically in all areas of cooperation. We are extremely grateful for that," said the Ukrainian Ambassador to Slovakia, His Excellency Myroslav Kastran, in his speech.

The uniqueness of the ZOK manipulator lies in its complexity and the fact that all operations are performed from a safe control room outside the high-radiation environment. It was developed for the South Ukrainian NPP and, in various modifications, for other Ukrainian power plants and countries such as Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.

Personnel training and handover tests have recently been carried out. These confirmed that the system meets the customer's requirements and technical specifications. This will be followed by its transport, testing and commissioning at the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant.

"NAEK Energoatom is our important customer who is currently providing above-average support to the war-torn country and its people in their daily lives," confirms Adrian Kovalyk, Member of the Board and Director of the Division for Diagnostics of Nuclear Power Plants of VUJE, a. s. "In a life-threatening and psychologically demanding state of war for the people of Ukraine, every step that supports energy stability, heat and light, functioning health care and education is very important.

"Ukraine has 15 nuclear power plants, and it is also an important customer for our company. The perspective of mutual relations was confirmed by the fact that in 2003, VUJE, a. s. already delivered the first-generation manipulator of this type. With the growth of technological possibilities, the current version has been significantly modernized.

We are aware of the trust of NAEK Energoatom. For two decades, they have been satisfied with our work results and final solutions for an important segment of industry and the daily operation of a huge country. We appreciate the fact that the entire civilized world is supporting country´s investment development with the awareness of a war-free future for its people," concludes Adrian Kovalyk.
