VUJE Strengthens International Cooperation in Nuclear Energy, Advancing Its Partnership in Vietnam

In the presence of the Prime Ministers of the Slovak Republic and Vietnam, an Action Plan for Cooperation between the Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute, VINATOM, and our company VUJE, a.s., was signed for the period 2026 to 2028.

VUJE Strengthens International Cooperation in Nuclear Energy, Advancing Its Partnership in Vietnam

This Action Plan builds on the existing Memorandum of Understanding and establishes a clear framework for joint activities in the following areas:

  • support for the Center for Nuclear Science and Technology (CNST) project, including expert support for the development of the nuclear research centre and the preparation of the research reactor;
  • capacity building in the field of nuclear safety and analyses;
  • assessment of nuclear facility design, including advanced technologies (SMR);
  • development of professional competencies for the implementation of nuclear projects.

The cooperation will be carried out through expert missions, training programmes, internships and joint technical activities. Within the framework of this cooperation, VUJE, a.s. will provide expert support and technical know-how with the aim of contributing to the safe and efficient development of nuclear infrastructure in Vietnam.
