A Unique Training Manipulator From the VUJE Workshop Was Deployed in Temelín Nuclear Power Plant!
It was published in the Czech media as well.
This special equipment was developed based on the requirement of the company ČEZ for which we delivered four unique manipulators of IRIS type. They are used for steam generator inspections in the nuclear power plants of Temelín and Dukovany.
Therefore, under the leadership of Pavol Jablonický, Head of the Design and Development Workshop Department, the first training manipulator was developed intended primarily for nuclear power plant personnel training.
"New but also experienced workers will be trained on the manipulator. Steam generators are the key part of a nuclear power plant, and therefore it is important that the personnel in charge of them have these activities perfectly managed", said Jan Kruml, Director of Temelín Nuclear Power Plant.
Adrian Kovalyk, Member of the Board of Directors and Director of the Nuclear Power Plant Diagnostics Division expresses satisfaction with his team and the high specialization of the partners:
"With their approach to appropriate personnel training, ČEZ is an example for other nuclear power plant operators. We are pleased that based on this cooperation our equipment portfolio has expanded to include a training manipulator" states Adrian Kovalyk, Member of the Board of Directors.
