Bilal Zahid visited VUJE: Discussions on high-level expertise and the future

"I would like to thank VUJE for an excellent visit; it was my first time in Trnava. It was a very important discussion about the future of nuclear energy in Slovakia and the possibilities for strengthening cooperation between Slovakia and the United Kingdom," H.E. Bilal Zahid stated following the meeting.

The meeting confirmed that nuclear energy is a priority for both nations, with a primary focus on exchanging professional expertise and identifying synergies for the implementation of modern technologies. 

Andrej Žiarovský, Director for Development and International Operations at VUJE, a. s., confirmed that international cooperation is the key to success. "Our goal is to cooperate in the construction of nuclear power sources as well as in innovation and development, enabling us to respond more effectively to global challenges and ensure a stable energy infrastructure for future generations," he emphasized.

The discussion naturally also centered on building trust and the high level of expertise that VUJE represents both domestically and abroad. 

During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the scientific program and visited the NPP Staff Training and Education Centre Division, led by Director Peter Drobný. This facility, which stands at the European forefront of operator training and certification, clearly demonstrates that investment in human potential and cutting-edge technology is vital for the long-term stability of the entire sector. 

Such partnerships, founded on mutual respect, confirm that nuclear safety and technological progress remain the key pillars uniting European energy leaders.
