The visit in Armenia is the key part of the VUJE´s strategy to participate in various projects for the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant.

The main objective of the business trip was the preparation of an international agreement on cooperation between the Slovak Republic and Armenian Republic in the radioactive waste treatment plant construction. The top representatives of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant, Eduard Martirosyan and Movses Vardanyan, and his Excellency the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Armenia, Miroslav Hacek, took part in the meeting with the representatives of VUJE, a. s.

The competencies and experience of VUJE in the field of nuclear power plant decommissioning and radioactive waste management were presented during the visit, and the support of the project by the Export-Import Bank of the Slovak Republic was also discussed.

In conclusion, all parties highlighted the high contribution of the proposed project and expressed broad support for it.
