We are proud to announce the signing of a groundbreaking new contract with French company Newcleo

The agreement is for technical and commercial cooperation for the development and implementation of a small modular reactor based on liquid metal cooling technology LFR. We signed it during the official visit of the President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini, and the Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic, Denisa Saková, to Italy.

This agreement will capitalise on VUJE's extensive experience in developing cutting-edge nuclear technologies, particularly in the construction and commissioning of nuclear reactors, as well as fast reactor technologies.

Our company VUJE, a.s., will collaborate with Newcleo on the development of the LFR-AS-200 liquid-lead-cooled fast reactor.

"With its 50 years of nuclear experience and existing nuclear infrastructure, Slovakia is a highly important and strategic partner for us, specifically in the development, testing, and practical application of new technologies for advanced modular reactors," Newcleo's founder and CEO Stefano Buono said in a statement.

The agreement with Newcleo integrates the practical experience of our company VUJE in the field of construction and commissioning of nuclear power plants with the innovative LFR technology, which currently places Slovakia at the forefront of advanced nuclear development.

"We see the act of signed cooperation as a significant opportunity to apply our skills in shaping the future of nuclear power.
