Deepening Nuclear Cooperation with Hungary – Nuclear Energy Experts Visit VUJE

The purpose of the visit was to present the activities of our division in material inspections, non-destructive testing, and the development of telerobotic systems for maintenance and diagnostics of nuclear power plant equipment. The program included a presentation of remotely operated manipulators, a demonstration of laser cleaning of primary circuit components using Pulsar technology, and the introduction of our latest telerobot – BUBler, designed for steam generator leak testing.

The guests also visited the non-destructive testing laboratories, the structural analysis department, and the manufacturing workshops, where they became acquainted with the process of equipment development. Discussions included proposals to deepen cooperation in the field of non-destructive inspection of steam generatorsand the implementation of new technologies that VUJE has already successfully applied in projects both domestically and abroad.

We see the meeting as an important opportunity for sharing experience between Slovak and Hungarian experts and for supporting regional cooperation in the field of nuclear energy.

“Such collaborations contribute to enhancing safety, efficiency, and innovation in the operation of nuclear power plants in Central Europe,” emphasized Adrian Kovalyk, Director of the Division for Diagnostics of Nuclear Power Plants at VUJE, a. s.

BUBler, the latest telerobot developed by our company, is designed for checking the tightness of steam generators.
